Bajaj is banking on the CNG bike offering a far more accessible and price effective than a typical petrol bike.
Just weeks away from the launch, Bajaj is conducting the final rounds of testing of the Bruzer 125 CNG. It was seen doing its usual test cycle on the roads between Pune and Lonavala ahead of the June 18 world debut.
The Bruzer 125 CNG will be the first production-bike in the world to use CNG as a primary source of fuel. It aims to offer a relatively relaxed riding stress free riding experience. With the running costs being far lesser than petrol alternatives, the commuting benefits that it should offer will be incredible.
Bajaj is bringing back the sloper configuration for the motor. It is an air-cooled unit that can either be scaled up or down in the future if things work well for this.
There were two trims of the bike spotted last time round. Read more about them here.
On June 18, we are expecting another wow moment with regards to the pricing of the bike. Usual 125cc bikes are in the ₹85,000-₹90,000 ballpark, and we think the same would be the case for the Bruzer. But we wouldn't put it past Bajaj to have an incredible introductory price to start with.
