Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited has announced a substantial festive discount offer for its flagship offering, the Joy Mihos. Priced at ₹1.17 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Joy Mihos electric scooter will be available with benefits up to ₹30,000. However, this offer will be available for a limited period, up until November 15, 2024. Customers can avail of these benefits through dealerships nationwide and e-commerce platforms.
For the uninitiated, the Joy Mihos is a high-speed electric scooter that is powered by a 2.8 kW battery and can reach a top speed of 65 kmph. In Eco mode, the Joy Mihos can travel up to 130 km on a single charge, and it takes around four to five hours to charge the battery fully. Design-wise, the Joy Mihos looks quite modern, and it also packs in a fair bit of modern features, including Android and IOS connectivity, vehicle tracking, geo-fence, remote disabling, etc.
The announcement of this festive offer comes as Wardwizard (the parent company) reported sales of 1,195 electric two-wheelers in September 2024, with total sales reaching 7,201 units in the first half of FY 2024-25.
The EV market is seeing increased competition during the festive season, with TVS offering ₹30,000 cashback on iQube variants, while Ola and iVOOMi have launched their own discount campaigns ranging from ₹10,000 to special promotional prices. These discounts are expected to further the sales of these products, but how far they have been able to successfully lure customers will be revealed next month when SIAM releases the festive sales figures.
