India’s emergence as a major automobile and electronics manufacturing hub is reshaping the country’s industrial landscape, with far-reaching implications for consumers. Speaking at a media event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscored the nation’s transformation, citing advancements in production, infrastructure, and global trade.
India’s automobile industry has seen exponential growth in both production and exports. With better road infrastructure, reduced logistics costs, and a rising push for electric vehicles (EVs), car manufacturers are ramping up production. The Prime Minister also highlighted the shift in electronics manufacturing, stating that India is now producing semiconductors and other high-tech products at a competitive scale.
