The Garmin Fenix 8 series comes with a two-year warranty in India.
Garmin on Wednesday unveiled its flagship Fenix 8 series of smartwatches in India, setting new benchmarks for premium wearable technology. Garmin's new high-end portfolio of smartwatches targets serious athletes and outdoor enthusiasts with extended battery life and advanced tracking capabilities.
Priced starting at Rs 86,990, the Fenix 8 series comes with a two-year warranty and is now available through premium retail outlets and Garmin India's official website.

The Fenix series introduces two variants: an AMOLED display model and a solar-powered variant. The 51mm AMOLED version delivers a claimed 29-day battery life while the solar-charging model pushes is said to come with a 48-day power reserve, according to Garmin.
Beyond standard fitness metrics, the Fenix 8 introduces sophisticated performance monitoring tools. Users can access detailed analytics including endurance scores, VO2 max measurements, hill performance metrics, and comprehensive training status updates. The device also supports underwater activities with depth resistance up to 40 meters.
For adventure enthusiasts, there is extensive activity support, ranging from recreational diving to backcountry skiing and kiteboarding. The watches feature detailed topographical maps spanning multiple continents, enhanced by Garmin's SATIQ technology for GPS accuracy. Navigation tools include an integrated compass, barometer, and the innovative NextFork Map Guide.
Smart features extend to voice-controlled operations, including off-grid commands and virtual assistant compatibility for message management. A standout feature is the adjustable LED flashlight with multiple modes, including a unique running cadence-synchronised strobe function.
The series supports contactless payments via Garmin Pay and integrates seamlessly with Garmin's ecosystem through Connect and Messenger apps. Third-party app support is available through the Connect IQ Store.
