Hero’s most expensive motorcycle debuted at the Hero World 2024 event in January and was later launched in February 2024.
Deliveries for Hero’s most powerful and expensive motorcycle as of yet – the Mavrick 440 – have commenced in India. Based on the same platform that also underpins the Harley-Davidson X440, the new Hero Mavrick 440 debuted in January 2024 at the Hero World event and was subsequently launched in February.
Unlike the Harley-Davidson X440’s cruiser styling, the Hero Motocorp looks more like a roadster. It comes equipped with a conventional telescopic fork and dual-shock absorbers, instead of USD fork and monoshock as is the case with the Harley. Moreover, the Mavrick 440 is also one of the most feature-rich motorcycles from Hero which includes an all-LED headlight, indicator, and tail light and a fully digital instrument cluster that supports smartphone connectivity along with turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alert, etc.
Both are also powered by the same 440 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, but in the Mavrick 440, it produces 27 bhp and 36 Nm. Hero has tuned the engine for a stronger low and mid-range
Lucky customers received the keys to the brand new bike from Hero’s bossman himself, Dr. Pawan Munjal at the Hero Premia outlet in Gurugram. Available in three variants, prices for the Mavrick 440 start from ₹1.99 lakh with the base-spec variant that gets spoke wheels. The mid-spec variant with alloy wheels is priced at ₹2.14 lakh, while the top variant with diamond-cut alloy wheels will set you back by ₹2.24 lakh.
