The Mavrick is the most powerful and premium motorcycle from Hero Motocorp as of yet.
After the recent price announcement, Hero has now confirmed that deliveries for the new Mavrick 440 will begin from April 15 onwards. Based on the same platform that also underpins the Harley-Davidson X440, the Hero Mavrick 440 was co-developed by Hero and Harley-Davidson.
It might be powered by the same air/oil-cooled, 440 cc, single-cylinder mill, but the engine tune has been altered to produce 36 Nm of torque (as against 38 Nm in the H-D X440). Moreover, Hero Motocorp also claims that 90 per cent of the torque is produced at 2000 Nm giving the Mavrick 440 a punchy low and mid-range.
