Honda has announced that it will be bringing a number of world premieres to the Japan Mobility Show, including prototypes of its completely reimagined 0 Series EVs, a fun new compact EV, an electric motorcycle and mountain bike, and more. In addition, the conglomerate will show off its work in areas outside the personal transportation industry, including a sustainable rocket, a private jet, and a concept boat. Honda’s press conference will be held at 11:15am local time on October 29.
Beginning with the highly anticipated Series 0 EV lineup, Honda will display its 0 Saloon and 0 SUV prototypes in Japan for the first time. The company is also teasing the world premiere of an all-new 0 Series prototype. Details of what type of car this might be, and what segment it will target, are scarce. Honda only says that it will allow more people to get a sense of “the value of the 0 series”. It will be joined by the Japan premiere of an Acura RSX prototype, planned for the North America market, as well as a prototype CR-V with Honda’s e:HEV hybrid system.
There will also be the world premiere of a new prototype for a compact EV, which Honda says it has designed to embody the joy of driving. Described as playful and usable, it is aimed at giving drivers a sense of exhilaration while on their everyday commutes, though still with some refinement. Currently undergoing road testing, this model will be targeted at countries where smaller EVs are in demand, such as Japan and other countries in Asia, plus the UK.
On the bike side, Honda has two more world premieres planned. The first is an electric motorcycle that’s being “developed with a new approach that defies conventional ideas”. The company expects this one to surprise and delight people. Second, a production version of the high-end e-MTB mountain bike concept shown off two years ago will be on display. This bike will be aimed at European markets. Enthusiasts will also get to see planned production examples of the new CB1000F and CB1000F SE road sports bikes at the show.
Honda will have production versions of several models on display as well, including an all-new Prelude sports coupe with its e:HEV hybrid system. This model is intended to combine the excitement of driving with everyday utility, with sustainability goals in mind. The N-ONE e: mini-EV, which recently went on sale in Japan, will also be there for attendees to get up close with.
Other things worth seeing will be the CR-V e:FCEV, powered by a hydrogen fuel cell, the CUV e: electric scooter, Rebel 1100 S Edition (DCT), Rebel 250 S Edition E-Clutch, CRF 1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES (DCT), CT125 Hunter Cub, DAX 125, and Monkey 125 Custom.
But what a lot of people will be most interested in will be Honda’s sustainable rocket – the actual unit that was successfully launched and retrieved in June 2025 will be at the show. Not only is it reusable, but it has also been engineered to use renewable fuel. Additionally, there will be a full-sized interior mockup of the HondaJet Elite II private jet, and a 1/5th scale model of the a concept boat.
