Honda Cars India has unveiled the all-new Honda Elevate compact SUV in the country, with a festive season launch later this year. The bookings for the new compact SUV from Honda will commence next month, from July 2023 onwards, and will be priced between Rs. 10.5 lakh and Rs. 15 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The upcoming Honda Elevate will feature a single petrol engine option, coupled with two gearbox options. Moreover, the company also revealed its plan to launch 5 new SUVs in India within the next 3 years, along with an electric version of the compact SUV.
Under the hood, the new Honda Elevate compact SUV comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that develops 119 bhp and 145 Nm coupled to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT unit. This is the same powertrain as the Honda City, however, the company is not offering a strong hybrid version for the SUV yet, and neither is there a diesel engine on offer.
