The all-new Honda Elevate enters the hotly contested compact SUV segment.
Honda Cars India has finally announced the prices for its newest compact SUV, the Honda Elevate, which starts at Rs. 11 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and goes up to Rs. 16 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the top-spec variant. We’ve driven the Honda Elevate and our first impressions were extremely positive for the newest compact SUV as it takes on the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder, MG Astor, and the Citroen C3 Aircross.

The Honda Elevate compact SUV is built upon the foundation of the fifth-generation Honda City platform. Its powertrain options include a 1.5-litre petrol engine, coupled with either a CVT automatic or a manual transmission. This 1.5-litre petrol engine generates 119 bhp of power and produces 145 Nm of torque. Honda has also disclosed the fuel efficiency ratings for the Elevate; the CVT variant achieves an ARAI-rated mileage of 16.92 kmpl, while the manual version delivers 15.31 kmpl.
The interior of the Honda Elevate boasts a stylish dual-tone design featuring soft-touch materials adorning the dashboard, side panels, and door panels. It comes equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen display borrowed from the Honda City, complemented by a 7-inch instrument panel and a wireless charging feature. Notably, the Honda Elevate offers a boot capacity of 458-litre, setting a new standard for spaciousness in its segment.
Regarding safety features, the new Honda Elevate is equipped with Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), akin to what you find in the Honda City. It also includes a robust safety package comprising six airbags, a Hill Start Assist, a Honda Lane Watch, a Rear View Camera with guidelines for added convenience, and ISOFIX child seat anchor points. Additionally, all passengers are secured with three-point seatbelts for enhanced safety.
