Honda Elevate Crosses 1 Lakh Sales Milestone Since 2023

Honda Cars India has achieved a significant milestone with its compact SUV, the Honda Elevate, crossing 1 lakh cumulative sales since its launch in September 2023. The sales figures include both domestic and export markets, highlighting the model’s growing popularity. As of January 2025, Honda has sold 53,326 units of the Elevate in India, while 47,653 units have been exported to markets such as Japan, South Africa, Nepal, and Bhutan. The Elevate is manufactured at Honda’s Tapukara plant in Rajasthan, making it a key contributor to the company’s production and export strategy. 

Kunal Behl, Vice President of Marketing & Sales at HCIL, stated, “Reaching the 1 lakh sales milestone is a proud moment for us. The Elevate has strengthened Honda’s presence in the domestic SUV market and bolstered our export operations. Since its global debut, the model has been well-received for its bold design, comfortable interior, engaging driving experience, and advanced safety features.” 

The Elevate holds a special place in Honda’s portfolio as the company’s first India-made model to be exported to Japan. It has also played a crucial role in boosting HCIL’s export business, contributing to a 65 per cent growth in FY 2023-24 and a 92 per cent increase in the ongoing financial year (April 2024 – January 2025).
