Honda will finally reveal the price for the Elevate after first unveiling it on June 6, 2023.
Honda is gearing up to launch the recently unveiled Elevate SUV in India. The date has been set for September 4, 2023. The Japanese automaker has already revealed all the details about their latest product in India, apart from the price. We’ve driven the Honda Elevate and even compared it to the upcoming Citroen C3 Aircross. We predict that the Elevate will be priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 18 lakh. Honda had recently commenced production of the Elevate in India, as well.
The Honda Elevate compact SUV is based on the fifth-generation Honda City platform and will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that will be paired with a CVT automatic transmission as also a manual. The 1.5-litre petrol engine makes 119 bhp and develops 145 Nm. Honda has released the fuel efficiency figures for the Elevate and the one with the CVT returns 16.92 kmpl while the manual gives 15.31 kmpl (both ARAI figures).
The Honda Elevate gets a dual-tone theme with soft-touch materials on the dashboard, side panels, as well as on door panels. The 10.25-inch touchscreen is sourced from the Honda City, along with a 7-inch instrument panel, and wireless charger. Moreover, the Honda Elevate also comes with a boot capacity of 458 litres, the largest in the segment.
In terms of safety, the Elevate brings with it Level-2 ADAS, similar to the Honda City, along with 6-airbags, Hill Start Assist, Honda Lane Watch, Rear View Camera with guidelines, and ISOFIX along with a three-point seatbelt for all passengers. Once launched, the Honda Elevate will lock horns with the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder, MG Astor and Citroen C3 Aircross.
