However, the exact premium charged to retrofit this kit is still not confirmed.
Honda is providing its compact SUV, the Elevate, by retrofitting it with a CNG at its dealership level. This is a dealer-fitted retro fitment kit rather than a factory-installed option. Multiple dealerships across India have already begun delivering CNG-equipped versions of the vehicle to customers.

An important advantage for buyers is that this dealer-fitted CNG conversion will not invalidate the standard warranty coverage of the Elevate SUV. Honda ensures that the retrofit complies with all governmental regulations, meaning owners need not worry about legal complications when driving their CNG-converted Elevates.
The cost premium for this CNG retrofitment option is yet to be disclosed. The standard Honda Elevate is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which customers can pair with either a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT gearbox. The CNG variant will likely be restricted to the manual transmission configuration only.
