Honda’s New Compact SUV To Be Called Elevate

Honda Cars India had recently shared design sketches of its upcoming SUV for India and the company has now announced that it will be called Elevate. The compact SUV from the Honda stable will make its world debut in India in June 2023. Honda calls it an SUV that’s ‘perfect’ for the urban environment.

Honda has had success with SUVs in India with the CR-V. All the generations that came to India, have had significant success and now with the Elevate, the Japanese car maker is looking to enter a very competitive space. The Honda Elevate will go up against established players like the Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, VW Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara among others.

A teaser sketch of the upcoming SUV shared by Honda shows how the design cues have been taken from the latest generation of the CR-V. It gets slim and sharp looking LED head lights and the large grille up front gives it a very muscular look. We wait to see what all it has to offer, but on the technology front, we expect it to be packed to the gills with features like Honda connect and on the safety front – ADAS.
