HP has announced the launch of several new premium EliteBook laptops and a 2-in-1 for business users and professionals. In keeping with the times, they are all designed to be thin and light, and all feature AI capabilities thanks to the latest Intel Core Ultra and AMD Ryzen AI CPUs. HP also promises long battery life across the range, plus security, manageability and collaboration features.
The HP EliteBook Ultra G1i has a 14-inch 2.8K 120Hz OLED touchscreen, and is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 5 or 7 (Series 2) CPUs. It weighs 1.19kg, with a body made partly of recycled magnesium and keycaps that use 50 percent post-consumer recycled plastic. Interestingly, the company also positions it as a professional video creation tool, with a 9-megapixel webcam, AI-powered camera software from Poly (an HP subsidiary), and what it says is the world’s largest haptic trackpad. The HP EliteBook Ultra G1i 14-inch is available in only an Atmosphere Blue colour. A variant with a Core Ultra 7 268V CPU, 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 1TB PCIe SSD retails for ₹2,67,223. It also has three Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports and Wi-Fi 7.
The EliteBook X G1i weighs 1.18kg, while the 2-in-1 EliteBook X Flip G1i weighs 1.4kg. Both have a 14-inch WUXGA (1920x1200) resolution touchscreen. Both are available with Intel Core Ultra 5 and 7 CPUs. Both are available in Atmosphere Blue and Glacier Silver. While the EliteBook X G1i is listed at ₹2,23,456, the EliteBook X Flip G1i is priced at ₹2,58,989, both with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of NVMe storage. Both models run Windows 11 with Copilot+ AI features.
Finally, HP has introduced the EliteBook X G1a. The base configuration, with an AMD Ryzen AI 7 Pro 360 CPU, 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB PCIe SSD, costs ₹2,21,723. Higher-priced variants include a Ryzen AI 9 Pro chip and up to 64GB of RAM. This model has a 2.8K OLED touchscreen, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, quad stereo speakers, fast charging, and Wi-Fi 7. It weighs 1.49kg and is available only in Glacier Silver.
