Hyundai has revealed a lot of information about the Alcazar facelift ahead of the launch on September 9.
Hyundai Motor India is launching the Alcazar facelift in India on September 9, 2024. The three-row SUV from Hyundai has been on sale in India. Hyundai has revealed the exterior, interior, features as well as powertrain details ahead of the launch.
The Alcazar facelift will borrow a lot of its design from the Creta facelift that was launched earlier this year. Up front, it gets H-pattern LED DRLs connected by a light bar, a wide grille with dark chrome accents, a refreshed bumper design and a new split headlamp. The Alcazar facelift also gets a new design for the 18-inch alloy wheels, redesigned roof rails as well as side skirts. At the back, it gets LED tailamps with a LED light bar and Alcazar written below that. Alongside, it also gets a redesigned rear bumper with the bumper-mounted reflectors getting a new design. The Alcazar facelift will also get a new colour called Robust Emerald Matte.
Inside, the Alcazar facelift’s resemblance to the Creta facelift continues. The dashboard design is a direct lift from the compact SUV but the Alcazar has a different colour combination. The three-row SUV gets a Brown and Blue theme instead of the two-tone Grey combination. The Alcazar also gets the same 10.25-inch dual-screen layout where one is the infotainment touchscreen and the other is a virtual instrument cluster.
The Alcazar facelift also gets dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable and memory front seats, with first and second-row seats getting ventilation function as well as a wireless charger. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a retractable table for the second row, auto wipers and more.
Safety features on the Alcazar include six airbags, hill descent control, hill start assist, traction modes (snow, mud and sand), electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, and all four disc brakes. The Alcazar facelift also comes with Level 2 ADAS which includes features like a blind spot view monitor, a 360-degree camera, forward collision warning and avoidance, lane keep assist, driver attention warning and more.
Powering the Alcazar facelift are the same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options. The former produces 158 bhp and 253 Nm and comes paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The diesel engine churns out 114 bhp and 250 Nm and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Along with the three traction modes, the Alcazar facelift also gets three driving modes (Normal, Eco and Sport).
