Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Hy-CNG Duo Launched At ₹7.75 Lakh

After the Exter Hy-CNG Duo, Hyundai Motor India Limited has launched its second product under the new twin-cylinder CNG range, and this time, it is the Grand i10 Nios Hy-CNG Duo at a starting price of ₹7.75 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Hy-CNG Duo is available in two variants- Magna and Sportz (₹8.83 lakh). For reference, the Grand i10 Nios Magna MT is priced at ₹6.78 lakh while the Grand i10 Nios Sportz MT retails at ₹7.36 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, India).

The new CNG technology will help free up space in the boot, making CNG vehicles more practical along with being efficient. The Grand i10 Nios CNG gets two 30-litre tanks and Hyundai claims it has a fuel efficiency of 27.1 km/kg. It gets a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 68 bhp and 95.2 Nm in CNG mode. In petrol mode, it produces 82 bhp and 114 Nm. Furthermore, the CNG kit is only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The Grand i10 Nios Hy-CNG Duo includes advanced safety features such as 6 airbags, TPMS, a rear parking camera, and electronic stability control (ESC). Additional features include projector headlamps, LED DRL and tail lamps, roof rails, shark fin antenna, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and rear AC vents.

Since its initial launch in 2019, the Grand i10 NIOS has sold over 4 lakh units and the introduction of the Hy-CNG Duo variant is expected to further bolster its market position.
