The new Hyundai Venue S(O)+ variant is based on the S(O) variant.
Hyundai Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (HMIL) has introduced a new variant with the Venue sub-compact SUV called S(O)+. Making it one of the most affordable models in the Venue portfolio to be available with an electric sunroof, the new Hyundai Venue S(O)+ has been launched with a sticker price of ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It slots between S(O) and Executive trims, wherein the new S(O)+ is based on the former trim. While we are yet to confirm if this new addition will make it to the S(O) Turbo variant or not – as of now – the new Hyundai Venue S(O)+ will be powered by the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated Kappa engine and will be available with the 5-speed manual only.
Beyond that, the rest of the features list of the new Hyundai Venue S(O)+ variant are also the same as the brand’s S(O) variant. It will also get the LED DRL and LED Projector headlamps on the outside. At the same time, the cabin will feature the same 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with the digital cluster with a TFT Multi Infotainment Display will be carried over as well. The safety features will remain the same, and the Hyundai Venue S(O)+ variant will also be available with six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, a rear camera, and automatic headlamps as standard.

This new introduction comes after Hyundai Venue witnessed a drop in its Year-on-Year (YOY) sales, with just 64,563 units sold last month. But that doesn’t diminish the fact that Hyundai’s Year-to-Date (YTD) sales have increased consistently. The brand has sold 4.32 lakh units of its SUVs and sedans since January 2024, thus registering a growth of 4.31 percent in the first seven months of this year.
