Apple's upcoming budget smartphone, the iPhone SE 4, is said to be a significant leap forward, particularly in bringing artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to a more accessible price point. Latest leaks have unveiled exciting details about the much-anticipated device.
Breaking from its predecessor's design, the new SE 4 will reportedly feature a 6.06-inch OLED display. While maintaining a modest 60Hz refresh rate, the device will incorporate the familiar notch design, housing both Face ID sensors and the front camera system.

Photography enthusiasts will get a camera upgrade, with leaks suggesting a 48MP main rear camera and a 12MP front-facing shooter. This marks a significant improvement over previous SE models, potentially bringing the budget line closer to flagship-level photography capabilities.
Under the hood, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to pack the same A18 chipset found in the base iPhone 16 models. The device will reportedly come with 8GB of RAM -- double the memory of its predecessor -- suggesting a strong focus on supporting Apple Intelligence features. Storage is expected to start at 128GB.
Battery will see a substantial upgrade with a 3,279mAh battery. While maintaining the familiar 20W charging speed, the device is rumoured to include MagSafe charging support, adding premium convenience to the budget offering.
According to renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, mass production is scheduled to begin in December 2024. Initial manufacturing targets suggest approximately 8.6 million units will be produced through the first quarter of 2025.
