Indian Cricketer Suresh Raina Buys New Kia Carnival

Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has purchased the new Kia Carnival MPV, which is priced at ₹63.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Raina has bought the Carnival Limousine Plus, the only variant currently on offer, and it is finished in Glacier White Pearl. Raina is also the first customer to receive the new Carnival. 

The Carnival is loaded with features like two 12.3-inch screens, one for the infotainment system and one for the virtual cluster. It also gets a dual-pane sunroof, powered second-row seats with reclining, ottoman, heating, and ventilation functions, and heating and ventilation for the front row seats. Other features include a powered tailgate, three-zone climate control, powered sliding rear doors, and more. 

Safety features on the Carnival include eight airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, hill-hold assist, seat belt reminders for all seats, parking sensors, and 23 functions for the ADAS suite. The Carnival is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 190 bhp and 441 Nm, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels. 

The Carnival, which is priced at ₹63.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India), doesn’t get any direct rivals. The Innova Hycross is ₹32.92 lakh more affordable than the Carnival, while the Vellfire is ₹58.40 lakh dearer than Kia’s flagship MPV.
