iQOO Z9 5G has launched in India as a new mid-range 5G smartphone, powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7200 chipset with features such as a 120Hz AMOLED display. Here's everything you should know about the iQOO Z9 5G.

iQOO Z9 5G specifications

The iQOO Z9 5G features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 394ppi pixel density, and claims to offer a peak brightness of 1800 nits. The display is protected by DT-Star 2 Plus glass and provides a 91.90% screen-to-body ratio with a punch-hole cutout for the 16MP selfie camera.

Under the hood, the device packs an octa-core 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and an Arm Mali-G610 GPU. It runs FuntouchOS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box.

In the camera department, the Z9 5G features a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS, an f/1.79 aperture, and a 2MP bokeh shooter. Video recording tops out at 4K@30fps.

Other notable features include up to 256GB UFS 3.0 storage (expandable via microSD), a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance. Other connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB-C.

The iQOO Z9 5G is offered in Brushed Green and Graphene Blue colours. Pricing starts at Rs 19,999 for the 8GB+128GB base variant, while the 8GB+256GB model costs Rs. 21,999. The launch offers include a Rs 2,000 discount on ICICI and HDFC Bank cards.

The phone goes on early sale starting tomorrow, March 13, for Amazon Prime customers, while open sales commence on March 14 across Amazon.in, iQOO.com, and retail outlets.
