Jitendra EV will also launch two more affordable variants of the Yunik scooter later in 2025.
Jitendra EV has finally taken the wraps off its new flagship offering, the Yunik electric scooter. Launched at ₹1.24 lakh, and available in just one variant as of now – the new Jitendra Yunik scooter comes loaded with all the essential features. Along with that, it also gets a bunch of accessories, which are more or less on the same lines as what Ather had done with the Rizta electric scooter. These include Yunikrown, a smart helmet with Bluetooth connectivity for calls, music, and navigation, and Yunikase, a multi-utility detachable bag for storage purposes. Jitendra EV has also introduced Yunikart Booster, which is basically like limp mode, that the marque says will help move the scooter effortlessly in case of a puncture.
The new Jitendra Yunik is powered by a 3.8 kWh battery that is good for 118 km of range on a single charge. Jitendra claims that the health of the battery can be measured via its JENi app which will notify you about any thermal propagation. Besides that, the battery is detachable, so you can remove it and charge it anywhere at your convenience. While the electric motor's power or even its nature has not been specified, the brand does mention the application of a "HyperGear Powertrain", which the brand says will help deliver "unmatched efficiency". What sort of efficiency Jitendra is speaking of here is something that we can say for sure once we get to test-ride the scooter.

On the features front, the Jitendra Yunik gets all LED lighting, including the turn indicators. The instrument cluster is also an LED unit, and while there is no Bluetooth connectivity available, the rider can charge their phone via a USB charging port. Lastly, the 12-inch wheels are shod with tubeless tyres, while disc brakes at both ends ensure the scooter has a nice stopping prowess.
Two more variants of the Jitendra Yunik will be launched later in 2025—the Yunik Lite and Yunik Pro. Both will pack more features than the current model, including a TFT cluster. Interestingly, the starting price will be much more affordable at ₹92,000 onwards, and the official launch will take place during the festive period.
