John Abraham is Aprilia India’s New Brand Ambassador

At the launch of Aprilia’s big bike portfolio in India, Aprilia India also announced Bollywood actor John Abraham as its new brand ambassador. The ‘Dhoom’ actor is one of the most popular faces when it comes to two-wheelers in the country, and his appointment as the brand ambassador of none other than Aprilia feels quite fitting. 

Known famously for having some of the best and top-shelf motorcycles in his garages, John has already owned the RSV4 RF in the past. To further expand this collection, he has also asked for the RSV4 Factory and the Tuono 660. Moreover, Aprilia India had also gifted the actor the recently launched Aprilia RS457, which the actor openly confessed “likes it” and finds it “fun to ride.” He found the bike so good that he has also been using it as his daily ride for short trips around his home.  

Aprilia will be selling it's entire portfolio in India via its Motoplex showrooms. Currently, there are 10 Motoplex showrooms in the country, and by the end of 2024, Aprilia India plans to open up to 20 Motoplex showrooms. All models will initially be brought to the country via the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route, but Aprilia might also sell eventually sell the bikes as CKD (Completely Knocked Down) models provided there’s a good demand for them.
