John Abraham Takes Delivery Of His Personalised Thar Roxx

Renowned Bollywood actor John Abraham has added another vehicle to his garage – a customised Mahindra Thar Roxx. Known for his love for rugged SUVs and off-road vehicles, Abraham’s latest acquisition showcases his penchant for adventure and style. John Abraham’s Thar Roxx stands out with a sleek Stealth Black exterior complemented by custom black badges on the sides, replacing the standard chrome "Mahindra Thar" lettering on the front fender. Additionally, the "4x4" badging features red inserts, adding a subtle contrast to the monochrome design.

Further distinguishing this special edition are black-finished door handles and ORVMs, ensuring a cohesive look across the vehicle. The most unique element is Abraham's "JA" signature emblazoned on the C-pillar, making this Thar instantly recognisable.

Inside, the Thar Roxx adopts a Mocha Brown theme, which harmonizes with the dark exterior. Personal touches continue with the "Made For John Abraham" engraving on the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) plate, located below the left AC vent. Additionally, the "JA" insignia is embroidered in yellow on both the front and rear headrests.

John Abraham's Thar Roxx is based on the top-spec AX7 L model. Key features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, a nine-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, and a powered driver’s seat.

Safety remains a priority with level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold.

Abraham’s Thar Roxx is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine that delivers 173 bhp and 370 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a 4x4 drivetrain, underscoring the SUV's off-road prowess. For those seeking different performance dynamics, the Thar Roxx is also available with a rear-wheel-drive configuration and a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine.

The Mahindra Thar Roxx is priced between ₹12.99 lakh and ₹23.09 lakh (ex-showroom) and competes directly with the Force Gurkha 5-door. It is also a larger alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
