The Jawa Perak is a very interesting and stylish motorcycle with a very niche customer base.
Renowned Indian classical, folk, and Bollywood singer, Kailash Kher recently took delivery of a brand-spanking new Jawa Perak dripped in all-black. The bobber motorcycle was delivered to his home, personally by the folks from the Jawa Yezdi Bandra dealership. The singer shared a video of him receiving the bike’s keys, post which he took it out for a quick spin.
“Jawa has always held a special place in my heart, and with this new addition, my passion for biking is reignited like never before,” exclaimed Kher in his Instagram post. The excitement was visible in the “Teri Deewani” singer’s face post the spin, and he also chirped in a small one-word review of the bike - “Makkhan machine” (a butter smooth machine).
The Jawa Perak is quite an eye-catchy bike, primarily because it's a bobber, characterised by its floating single-seat design. Powering Kailash Kher’s new bobber bike is a 334 cc engine that produces 30.22 bhp and 32.74 Nm. Coupled with a 6-speed gearbox, the bike feels quick to ride and can also do occasional highway tours without breaking a sweat.
Priced at ₹2,13,187 (ex-showroom, Delhi), it is also one of the most affordable bobbers in the Indian market. The next option in the market, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 packs in a bigger, and smoother parallel-twin engine, and it also costs more at ₹3.73 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi). We at Acko Drive, wish Kailash Kher many happy miles and memories with his new bike.
