Kia Adds New Gravity Editions To Sonet, Seltos, Carens

Kia has introduced a special Gravity Edition for three of its popular models—Sonet, Seltos, and Carens—celebrating its fifth anniversary in the Indian market. The Gravity Edition introduces cosmetic enhancements and a few premium features on the Seltos, Sonet and Carens, based on mid-spec HTX, HTK+, and Premium (O) variants respectively.

Kia Sonet Gravity Edition

The Sonet Gravity Edition, based on the HTK+ trim, is available with all three of the standard Sonet engine options: an 82 bhp, 1.2-litre petrol engine with a manual transmission, a 118 bhp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with an iMT gearbox, and a 114 bhp, 1.5-litre diesel engine with a manual gearbox. Buyers can choose from Pearl White, Aurora Black Pearl, or Matte Graphite.

Feature upgrades over the HTK+ trim include a wireless charger, a dashcam, a front-door armrest, and 60:40 split rear seats with adjustable headrests and a rear armrest with cup holders. On the outside, the Sonet Gravity Edition gets a rear spoiler, a Gravity logo, and 16-inch alloy wheels, giving it a sportier edge.

Kia Seltos Gravity Edition

The Seltos Gravity Edition builds on the mid-spec HTX trim and offers both petrol and diesel engine options. Customers can choose between the 113 bhp, 1.5-litre petrol engine with either a manual or a CVT gearbox, or the 114 bhp, 1.5-litre diesel engine with a manual transmission. The special edition comes in three colours: Glacial White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, and Dark Gun Metal (Matte).

Notably, the Seltos Gravity Edition gains some features typically reserved for higher trims. These include ventilated front seats, a Bose sound system, an electronic parking brake (exclusive to the petrol-CVT variant), and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. From an aesthetic standpoint, it sports 17-inch alloy wheels, a gloss black rear spoiler, and body-coloured door handles, along with an exclusive Gravity Edition emblem. Inside, the cabin is finished in a premium Indigo Pera colour scheme.

Kia Carens Gravity Edition

The Carens Gravity Edition is based on the Premium (O) trim and comes in three engine variants: the base model is powered by a 113 bhp, 1.5-litre petrol engine with a manual gearbox, while the mid-level option features a 158 bhp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with an iMT gearbox. The top diesel variant gets a 114 bhp, 1.5-litre engine mated to a manual transmission.

The Carens Gravity Edition brings a handful of premium additions, including a single-pane sunroof, a dashcam, and artificial black leather seats. The door-centre trims and armrests are finished in leatherette material, while LED map and room lamps further enhance the cabin's ambience. Like its counterparts, it sports a Gravity Edition emblem.
