The Carens facelift is expected to come to India sometime in 2025.

Kia is working on a facelift for the Carens and the MPV has now been spotted testing overseas. While the Carens facelift was covered in thick camouflage, it did hint at a few interesting design elements. The Carens facelift is expected to come to India sometime in 2025.

The spy shots show the Carens facelift will get a new taillamp design that is in line with the ones seen on the Seltos and Sonet. It will have a C-shaped LED lighting element in the taillamps that are connected by a light bar. The front of the Carens facelift is also hidden under heavy camouflage but expect it to follow a similar design language as the Seltos and Sonet.

The cabin of the Carens was not visible in the spy shots but expect the facelifted model to continue with the dual-tone interior and the 6- and 7-seat configurations. Expect the features list to include tech like a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, air purifier, ventilated front seats and more. It could also come with ADAS level 2 with features like adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring and more.

The Carens facelift will continue with the same petrol, turbo-petrol and diesel engine options. Gearbox options will likely include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, 6-speed automatic and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. It is also likely to get an all-electric version that will also come in 2025.
