Kia is targeting more than 32 lakh units of sales in 2025.
Kia Corporation sold nearly 31 lakh vehicles in the calendar year 2024 (CY24), registering a marginal growth of 0.1 per cent, compared to CY23. This marks 2024 as the best year in sales for the South Korean brand. Furthermore, Kia Corporation is targeting sales of more than 32 lakh units in CY25.
In Korea, Kia sold a little more than 5.4 lakh units in CY24, which was 4.2 per cent lower than CY23. Outside of Korea, it sold more than 25 lakh units in the year gone by, registering a growth of just 1 per cent compared to 2023.

Kia’s best-selling model was the Sportage with more than 5.87 lakh units sold in 2024. The other two top-selling models for the brand were also SUVs – Seltos (more than 3.12 lakh units) and Sorento (almost 2.81 lakh units).
The brand also said that new launches like the EV3 electric SUV, K4 sedan and the hybrid Carnival helped boost sales in 2024. It was also helped by “stabilised industrial conditions and flexible business operations that increased vehicle production and supply”.

In India too, Kia recorded its best year in sales with 2.5 lakh units sold in CY24. However, compared to global sales, Kia India’s sales grew by 6 per cent compared to CY23. The Sonet was Kia India’s highest-selling model in CY24, followed by the Seltos and Carens.
