The EV4's design stays true to the bold and unconventional styling of the concept car. It features a sleek, aerodynamic profile with a distinctive "Tiger Face" front fascia, characterised by sharp lines, striking LED lighting signatures, and a unique two-piece rear spoiler. Kia has also revealed that the EV4 will be available in both sedan and hatchback variants
Karim Habib, Executive Vice President and Head of Kia Global Design said "By offering both sedan and hatchback variants, we are bringing to our customers the unique experience of modernity and practicality that defines the Kia EV family, in a way that suits their varied lifestyles and needs."
While Kia has yet to release full specifications, the EV4 is expected to be built on the E-GMP platform, which also underpins the award-winning EV6 crossover. This suggests that the EV4 will offer competitive range, fast charging capabilities, and a variety of powertrain options, including single-motor and dual-motor configurations.
The cabin of the car is yet to revealed but we expect it to come with environment friendly materials.
The EV4 will take on the likes of the Tesla Model 3 and even the MG 4 hatch in the European market. There is a likelihood of the car coming to India as well, though the company has not yet confirmed it. We will know more about the car on February 27, when it makes its global debut
