The F-Type was in production for 11 years and the last unit will be kept in Jaguar’s heritage fleet.
Jaguar has produced the last-ever F-Type and it is not for sale. That is because Jaguar will keep the last unit in the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust and it will join the last-ever E-Type model that was produced in 1974.
The final Jaguar F-Type convertible is finished in Giola Green with a Black roof and Tan Windsor interior, similar to the last E-Type Series III Convertible model built in 1974. While the F-Type gets a 5.0-litre V8 engine, the E-Type got a 5.3-litre V12 engine.
Along with being a sendoff for the F-Type, it also marks the end for Jaguar’s V8 engine. In 2025, Jaguar will reveal its first electric Grand Tourer. Jaguar’s 5.0-litre supercharged V8 produces 444 bhp in the final model. And as Jaguar braces for its electric future starting in 2025, it remains an SUV-only brand for the time being with the F-Pace, I-Pace and E-Pace remaining in its portfolio.
Since it was introduced globally in 2013 as a convertible, Jaguar has produced 87,731 units of the F-Type. For perspective, Jaguar produced 72,528 units of the E-Type in 13 years of production. Jaguar launched the F-Type convertible in India in 2013, with the Coupe being launched in 2014. Subsequently, Jaguar launched the four-cylinder version of the F-Type in India in 2018 and the facelifted version in 2020.
Rawdon Glover, Managing Director, said, “Today, as we celebrate F-TYPE and our 75-year history of innovative Jaguar sports cars, we are also looking forward to the beginning of a new era. We will reimagine and elevate the Jaguar brand that will be focused on growing client intimacy and engagement, underpinned by our purpose to inspire like no other.”
