Lectrix EV has launched a new high-speed electric two-wheeler priced under ₹ 50,000, making it a compelling option for budget-conscious consumers. This exciting launch comes with a unique twist – a battery-as-a-service (BaaS) model that further reduces upfront costs.
The new e-scooter has impressive specs, delivering a 100 km range on a single charge. This makes it ideal for everyday commutes and errands. It also boasts a top speed of 50 kmph, keeping pace with city traffic. While the exact battery size for this model isn't disclosed, it likely differs from the LXS 2.0 which is equipped with a 2.3 kWh battery pack and was recently launched.
Lectrix EV breaks new ground by offering a battery-as-a-service (BaaS) model. Customers pay a subscription fee of ₹ 1,499 per month for battery usage and instead of the traditional upfront purchase, potentially saves nearly 40% compared to similar scooters.
To sweeten the deal even further, Lectrix EV includes a lifetime warranty on the battery, addressing a major concern for many potential EV buyers. This not only reduces price but you also have a new battery whether you decide to use it after a few weeks of it being parked.
This launch follows Lectrix EV's successful release of the LXS 2.0 e-scooter earlier this year. The LXS 2.0 prioritizes range, quality, and value, offering a 98 km range and a unique 2.3 kWh battery pack, all priced at ₹ 79,999.
Both the new e-scooter and the LXS 2.0 target first-time electric vehicle buyers by providing features like long range, warranty, and doorstep service.
