Mahindra Thar Electric Concept Teased

Mahindra has dropped yet another teaser for its annual event which is scheduled to be held in Cape Town, South Africa this year. The homegrown automaker has officially teased the Thar Electric concept in a new teaser. The video on social media shows key design elements of the electric SUV concept. There’s also a strong chance that this electric concept by Mahindra could be called the 'Thar.E.'

Since this will be a concept unveiling, not much is known about the kind of platform and powertrain the Thar Electric will come to offer when it does arrive on the scene. Some online reports suggest that the Thar Electric concept could with a quad-motor setup and will be able to perform a crab walk. It also almost certainly will get 4x4 capabilities, just like the ICE-powered Thar.

Mahindra Automotive will also showcase other future mobility plans along with a ‘revolutionary global platform that will redefine the future of farming.’ The brand is calling it an ‘Auto & Farm showcase of our Go Global Vision’ which will likely showcase a whole host of the Indian brand’s capabilities in the sectors as mentioned earlier. Mahindra had also teased a Scorpio N pickup concept earlier this week.
