Mahindra Thar Roxx RWD Prices Revealed

After announcing the starting price of the Thar Roxx on August 14, Mahindra has revealed the prices for the 5-door SUV in RWD iteration. Mahindra will announce the prices of the 4WD versions before the bookings start on October 3, 2024. The deliveries will commence from October 12, 2024. Starting at ₹12.99 lakh, the Mahindra Thar Roxx RWD in its petrol version, ranges to ₹14.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India), while the diesel Thar Roxx with a starting price of ₹13.99 lakh, tops out at ₹18.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). For perspective, the Thar 3-door is priced between ₹14.30- ₹16.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the petrol versions, and ₹11.35- ₹17.60 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the diesel versions. Its main rival, the Force Gurkha 5-door, is available at ₹18 lakh (ex-showroom, India), while its 3-door version is priced at ₹16.75 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Unlike the Thar, the Gurkha employs a single 2.6-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine. The Maruti Suzuki Jimny, available with 5-doors, and a single petrol engine option paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, is priced between ₹12.74- ₹14.95 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
