Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6e Exterior And Interior Design Sketches Revealed

Mahindra has unveiled teaser sketches for its upcoming electric SUVs, the BE 6e and XEV 9e, which are part of the company’s “Electric Origin” lineup. The global debut of these vehicles is scheduled for November 26, 2024. According to Mahindra, these SUVs aim to set new standards in the electric vehicle (EV) segment through a combination of advanced design, modern technology, and emotional appeal.

The teaser sketches reveal SUVs with bold and contemporary designs. While these models are expected to share a common platform, both SUVs exhibit distinct characteristics. The upcoming Mahindra BE 6e features sharp, angular edges, a muscular stance, and streamlined body lines. Key design elements include prominent LED lighting and a commanding road presence. On the other hand, the XEV 9e with a sleek, coupe-inspired profile, while the electric SUV 9e for a more minimalist aesthetic. Vertical lighting elements, a simplified grille, and a clean silhouette give it a sporty and premium feel. Design details such as flush door handles and striking alloy wheels contribute to its upscale look.

Mahindra highlights a focus on futuristic and technology-driven interiors for both SUVs. The Mahindra BE 6e is equipped with a dual-screen cockpit, ambient lighting, and an illuminated steering wheel logo. The design appears to cater to a tech-savvy audience, although detailed specifications for the screens or other systems are yet to be confirmed.

The Mahindra XEV 9e in contrast features a triple-screen dashboard and white upholstery, giving it a high-tech, sophisticated ambience. While visually appealing, the functionality and integration of these screens with the overall user interface have not been elaborated on.
