Mahindra has launched the new XUV 3XO subcompact SUV at ₹ 7.49 lakh and tops out at Rs. 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It is essentially a facelift of the XUV300 and along with a new name, it gets a heavily revised exterior and interior design along with new features.

The XUV 3XO gets a completely new design for the front with new dual-LED headlamps with C-shaped LED DRLs and a revised grille with a diamond-like pattern. At the back, it gets C-shaped LED taillamps with a lightbar connecting the top part. It also gets 16-inch, dual-tone alloy wheels and the profile remains largely similar to the XUV300.
Inside, the XUV 3XO gets a revised dashboard with a large, 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen taking centre stage and also gets a fully digital instrument cluster. The subcompact SUV also gets many new features like a panoramic sunroof, remote climate control, ventilated front seats and a 7-speaker sound system from Harmon Kardon.
The XUV 3XO has plenty of safety features like six airbags, disc brakes on four wheels, ISOFIX, ABS with EBD, an electronic stability program, traction control and a 360-degree camera.
Under the hood, the XUV 3XO gets a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine in two states of tune – 109 bhp with 200 Nm and 129 bhp with 230 Nm. It also gets a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 115 bhp and 300 Nm. The XUV 3XO gets a choice of a 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The XUV 3XO rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor, Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
