Mahindra’s XUV300 lineup now starts at Rs. 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom) with the new W2 variant.
Mahindra & Mahindra have introduced new variants for the XUV300. First is the W2 trim which comes with a 1.2-litre, TCMPF petrol engine which produces 108 bhp and 200 Nm of peak torque. It can be had either with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT gearbox. The newly launched W2 variant is priced at Rs. 7.99 lakh, but only comes with the manual transmission (ex-showroom).
The other is the W4 variant which is priced at Rs. 9.29 Lakh (ex-showroom) and now comes with the 1.2-litre, mStallion TGDi petrol engine which churns out 128 bhp and 230 Nm of torque. This engine can only be had with a 6-speed manual transmission. This particular engine previously started from the W6 variant. Furthermore, the W4 variant for all powertrains also gets a sunroof to further enhance the appeal of the Mahindra XUV300.
The XUV300 also comes with a 1.5-litre diesel engine which produces 115 bhp and 300 Nm of peak torque. This motor comes mated to either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT gearbox. In terms of competition, the XUV300 competes against the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger. Prices for the XUV300 now range between Rs. 7.99 lakh and Rs. 14.59 lakh (ex-showroom).
