The Brezza always had six airbags but was only limited to the top-spec ZXI+ trim.
The Maruti Suzuki Brezza always came with six airbags but only on the top-spec ZXI+ trim. Now, Maruti Suzuki has made this safety feature standard across all variants. The Brezza also got a price hike earlier this month, and it now ranges between ₹8.54 - 13.98 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It is one of the last subcompact SUVs to get six airbags as standard, the Renault Kiger, Maruti Suzuki Fronx and Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor still don’t get six airbags standard.

Earlier, the Brezza did not get three-point seatbelts as standard for all occupants as the rear centre passenger only had a lap belt. Maruti Suzuki has now added a three-point seatbelt for this seat too. It has added adjustable rear headrests as standard too. Other safety features on the Brezza include electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and brake assist as well as hill-hold assist.

The Brezza comes with features like a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen, a single-pane sunroof, a head-up display, a 360-degree camera, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger and more.

Under the hood, the Brezza gets a 102 bhp, 137 Nm, 1.5-litre petrol engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. It also gets a factory-fitted CNG kit which develops 87 bhp and 121.5 Nm and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
