Other variants of the Grand Vitara get discounts worth ₹64,000.
Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts of up to ₹1.4 lakh on the Grand Vitara, according to our dealer sources. However, this is only applicable to the variants with the strong hybrid powertrains. The other variants have discounts of up to ₹64,000.
The Delta, Zeta and Alpha mild-hybrid variants of the Grand Vitara get discounts of up to ₹64,000, while the entry-level Sigma gets ₹34,000 discount. The two CNG variants – Delta and Zeta – are available with a discount of ₹14,000 only. The Grand Vitara gets two hybrid variants – Zeta+ and Alpha+ – and they get the highest discount of ₹1.4 lakh.
The Grand Vitara is priced between ₹10.99 - 17.01 lakh for the mild-hybrid variants. The CNG variants are priced between ₹13.15 - 14.96 lakh, while the two hybrid variants are priced at ₹18.43 - 19.93 lakh. (All prices ex-showroom, India). It rivals the likes of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Honda Elevate and Citroën C3 Aircross.
It gets a choice of three powertrains – the mild-hybrid, hybrid and CNG. The mild-hybrid powertrain gets a 102 bhp, 137 Nm, 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The hybrid powertrain gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a small electric motor and an e-CVT and combined, produces 114 bhp. The CNG powertrain gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 87 bhp and 121.5 Nm and is only available with the 5-speed manual transmission.
The Grand Vitara is offered with a lot of features like a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a wireless charger, a head-up display, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, automatic climate control and more. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, hill-hold assist and more.
