Mercedes-Benz resumes its partnership with The Devil Wears Prada for the 2026 sequel, featuring the Maybach S-Class as Miranda Priestly’s signature vehicle.
The long-standing association between Mercedes-Benz and the The Devil Wears Prada franchise continues with the upcoming sequel, scheduled for release on May 1, 2026.
This partnership, which began with the 2006 original, remains a central element of the film's visual identity, positioning the German automaker as the primary transport for the lead character, Miranda Priestly.
In the original film, Priestly (played by Meryl Streep) was famously chauffeured in a Mercedes-Benz S 500 (W221) in Iridium Silver. For the 2026 sequel, the brand has transitioned the character to the 2026 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.
To mark the film's return, Mercedes-Benz launched a global co-promotion titled "The Art of Arrival," featuring a one-off MANUFAKTUR special edition vehicle designed for premiere events and marketing activations.

The film features the return of the original core cast, including Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci. The plot reportedly explores the transition of the traditional fashion magazine industry into the modern digital landscape. Joining the legacy cast are new additions such as Justin Theroux, Simone Ashley, and Kenneth Branagh.
From a branding perspective, the integration aims to align the Maybach’s high-end specifications (such as its bespoke hand-stitched interiors) with the character’s "uncompromising" persona.
For the Indian luxury market, where the S-Class has historically been a benchmark for executive transport, this placement reinforces the model's status as a symbol of corporate and creative authority.
