JSW MG Motor India has not yet confirmed whether this car will be the first to be retailed out of the company's 'Select' Dealerships
It was just a week ago that MG Motor India announced that the Cyberster is all set to make its debut in India in January 2025. The car will be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Show. The company today showed off the scissor doors that the car will get. The electric scissor doors operate from single-touch button across the interior console, key fob and each door in a rapid 5-second open and shut time. Engineered to ensure safety, the built-in Dual Radar sensors on each door provide protection sideways and upwards while opening. It is also clubbed with an anti-pinch bounce back feature ensuring safety for the consumer while closing the door.
The MG Cyberster will be available in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. Some of the headline figures with the RWD configuration include 507 km range on a single charge, a 144 kW DC fast charging support that takes 38 minutes to charge the battery from 0-80 per cent, and a 250 kW-strong electric motor that is good for a top speed of 195 kmph.
With the four-wheel drive configuration, the MG Cyberster will be available with a 375 kW-electric motor that will be good for a top speed of 200 kmph, and can do the 0-100 kmph dash in just 3.2 seconds. Range falls slightly and at 443 km it is almost 60 km less than the RWD configuration.
