Tecno is set to showcase its Tecno Spark Slim concept phone at the MWC 2025 in Barcelona.
With Mobile World Congress (MWC) set to kick off in Barcelona, Spain on March 3, some noteworthy smartphone makers such as Samsung, Nothing, Tecno, among others, are likely to unveil their devices at the event which is not the premier show it once was.
Tecno is set to showcase its Tecno Spark Slim concept phone at the MWC 2025 in Barcelona. The device is being promoted as the world's thinnest smartphone with a remarkable 5.75mm profile while still housing a substantial 5,200mAh battery.
According to a press note issued on Friday, the Tecno Spark Slim will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display and come equipped with a 50-megapixel dual rear camera system.
Visitors to Tecno's booth at MWC will have the opportunity to view this ultra-slim concept device firsthand.
Last year, Nothing announced the Phone 2a at the MWC, and this year, Nothing has already teased the unveiling of its new 3a series scheduled for March 4, the second day of the conference.
Xiaomi has officially launched its latest premium smartphone, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, in its home turf China, and the device is likely to make its global debut at MWC as well.
HMD Global has maintained a consistent presence at MWC since 2017, initially showcasing Nokia-branded devices including nostalgic revivals like the 8110 Reloaded, and more devices.
While specific announcements remain unknown, multiple reports suggest the sub-$100 HMD Key could get a global launch announcement at MWC.
Despite Samsung's recent teaser of the Galaxy S25 Edge at its Unpacked event last month, there are some indications the company plans to officially launch the device at MWC 2025.
