This generation features redesigned bumpers, a fresh grille with horizontal slats, and new LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights (DRLs). Inside, Maruti Suzuki has opted for a dual-tone interior theme. A large, freestanding touchscreen infotainment system will serve as the central control hub. The subcompact sedan is expected to receive a 360-degree camera, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a blind-spot monitor. The addition of a flat-bottom steering wheel brings a sportier touch, while a segment-first electric sunroof adds to its appeal.

The new Dzire will share its engine with the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift, using the company’s 1.2-litre Z Series petrol engine. This engine is capable of producing 80 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. Maruti will offer the Dzire with a choice between a 5-speed manual transmission and an AMT.
For environmentally-conscious consumers and those looking for a cost-effective option, Maruti Suzuki will also introduce a CNG variant, which has become increasingly popular in the Indian market due to its lower running costs and reduced emissions. However, it is yet to be confirmed if the CNG variant will be available from the initial launch date or introduced later in the model’s lifecycle.
