While MV Agusta hasn’t revealed much about the bike, besides the fact that it will be “lightweight, powerful and elegant.”
MV Agusta is all set to launch a brand-new motorcycle at the end of this month and while it has not revealed much, there are high chances that this will be an updated iteration of its retro-styled sport bike, the Superveloce. To be more specific, the Superveloce 1000.
So far, the larger Superveloce has been a limited edition Serie Oro version. MV Agusta has a few trims for the smaller 800, though. Hence, the larger litre-class inline-four potter equipped standard variant of the Superveloce could be the way to go. So, we can expect the same 208 bhp delivered at 13,000 rpm and 116.5 Nm. Not to forget, the top speed claim of at least 300 kmph will set the headline for the upcoming bike.

However, unlike the limited edition Serie Oro, the standard variant might see a few omissions. For starters, the body might not be made fully out of carbon fibre. And as can be deciphered from the teaser image, the standard bike will also miss out on the bespoke four-exit organ-pipe inspired exhaust that Akrapovic had exclusively built for the Superveloce Serie Oro 1000. However, the Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V4 tyres and Ohlins suspension components might be retained
All in all, just like the Serie Oro, the upcoming MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 will be quite an exquisite build. And like every MV Agustas that have launched before, it will also reserve the potential to impress us. So stay tuned to this space, for we will get to know more about the bike.
