The Nothing Phone (2A) is expected to boast a 6.7-inch AMOLED display.
UK-based Nothing is gearing up for an intriguing launch, potentially unveiling a new phone codenamed A142. This device is widely speculated to be the Nothing Phone (2A), as hinted by their X.com bio stating, “something is coming this week.” This anticipation is further fuelled by the phone's appearance on the BIS certification portal.
The Nothing Phone (2A) is expected to boast a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, complemented by a dual camera system and the signature Glyph interface on its back. This model is an upgrade from the now-discontinued Phone (1). The existing Nothing Phone (2) is currently on the market for Rs 39,999, featuring 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, having recently undergone a price reduction. Consequently, the Phone (2A) is anticipated to be more affordably priced.
Rumours suggest that the Nothing Phone (2A) will be equipped with the Snapdragon 782 processor and a robust 4,920mAh battery, surpassing the 4,500mAh battery of the Phone (2). This new addition is set to fill a gap in Nothing’s lineup, following the cessation of Phone (1) production.
Moreover, this launch marks the first significant product introduction since Nothing ventured into the CMF sub-brand, which brought a smartwatch, earbuds, and a charger to the market.
