1 Ola Electric mobility

Under the new programme, Ola Electric is offering referral bonuses of ₹5,000 in credit points to an existing customer, and ₹1,000 cashback for a new customer.

Ola Electric has introduced “Ola Insiders” — an exclusive community initiative designed to reward and retain its existing customer base of over one million riders across India. The program provides structured benefits focused on vehicle upgrades, add-on purchases, and customer referrals, with total incentives of up to ₹50,000.

The initiative reflects the company’s strategy to deepen customer engagement while accelerating the adoption of electric mobility through ownership incentives.

Program structure and key benefits

The Ola Insiders program is built around three core offerings aimed at enhancing ownership value and encouraging ecosystem growth.

  • Upgrade benefits for existing customers: Gen 1 and Gen 2 scooter owners can upgrade to the latest Gen 3 S1 portfolio or Roadster motorcycles, with benefits of up to ₹50,000. These upgrades include access to newer battery technologies such as the 4680 Bharat Cell variants, positioning the move as both a financial and technological step forward for existing users.
  • Add-on incentives for multi-vehicle households: Customers purchasing an additional Ola vehicle under the same registered name can unlock benefits of up to ₹20,000. These incentives include cashback and MoveOS upgrades, encouraging multi-vehicle adoption within households and strengthening brand loyalty.
  • Referral rewards to expand EV ecosystem: The referral component offers customers up to ₹5,000 in Ola credits upon successful delivery to a referred buyer, while the new customer receives ₹1,000 cashback. This dual incentive structure aims to expand the user base through community-driven advocacy.

Speaking on this development, an Ola spokesperson said, “With over a million riders, our community remains central to our journey. With the launch of Ola Insiders, we are introducing a structured ownership program built around our riders which supports seamless vehicle upgrades, enables multi-Ola households, and makes it easier for our community to bring more people into electric mobility.”
