OnePlus 13R To Launch On January 7 Alongside OnePlus 13, Company Confirms

OnePlus on Wednesday confirmed that OnePlus 13R, another member of the OnePlus 13 series, will be officially unveiled on January 7. The OnePlus 13R is launching in two colourways, both inspired by Mother Nature, according to the handset maker. 

The OnePlus 13R will be unveiled in Nebula Noir and Astral Trail colours, and will feature a slim design and a camera layout which follows the golden ratio. It will also feature the newly-developed Gorilla Glass 7i on the front and back, thus, providing superior protection against screen scratches, paired with an aluminium frame. 

With a flat screen within an 8mm thin body, the device will come with versatile triple camera setup at the rear.

Both OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R smartphones will feature hefty batteries (6,000mAh) with 100W fast charging support. The OnePlus 13 will also offer 50W wireless charging, setting it apart from its sibling.

Powered by the latest Android 15-based OxygenOS 15, these devices will ship with advanced AI capabilities and refined software features, the company had earlier confirmed.

Display technology will see significant improvement, with the OnePlus 13 featuring a 2K resolution quad-curved display and the OnePlus 13R offering a 1.5K resolution flat panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. This will be a notable departure from the OnePlus 12R and OnePlus 11R.
