OnePlus has always been a fan favorite, particularly among tech enthusiasts who appreciate both high-end specifications and affordability. The OnePlus 11 5G, launched in 2023, carries on this tradition. Now, OnePlus has introduced a new color variant of the phone, a Marble Odyssey finish, which harks back to the white variant of the OnePlus 6. The OnePlus 11 5G Marble Odyssey combines extraordinary smartphone technology with exceptional artistry. “We are proud to present exquisite craftsmanship that narrows the gap between art and technology,” said Kinder Liu, President and COO of OnePlus. The Marble Odyssey edition is offered in the top-of-the-line specification. It features a whopping 16GB of DDR5X RAM and a 6.7-inch LTPO3 Fluid AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for protection. The screen delivers a resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels, offering a detailed and immersive viewing experience. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 4 nm chip with an octa-core CPU and an Adreno 740 GPU. The OnePlus 11 5G Marble Odyssey comes with up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, which ensures faster data transfer and enhanced performance. The primary camera system, tuned by Hasselblad, uses the Sony IMX 858 sensor with a 50-megapixel resolution. It also includes a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera. The phone also comes with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is fueled by a 5000mAh battery, and it supports 100W wired charging. This robust battery can be charged from 1-50% in just 10 minutes and can be fully charged in just 25 minutes1. Furthermore, the OnePlus 11 5G also supports wireless charging, a significant addition to its feature set. Connectivity options on the OnePlus 11 5G include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6/7, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.3, A2DP, LE, aptX HD, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0, OTG1. The OnePlus 11 5G Marble Odyssey runs on OxygenOS 13, based on Android 13, but it will be upgradeable to Android 14. There is already a beta developer build of Android 14 available. OnePlus’ new color variant is a testament to the company’s commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering exceptional technology. This unique marble finish was developed after more than a year of R&D. OnePlus initially struggled with the yield rate for the marble-like finish, which was as low as 25% from the original glass back. By the time of production, however, OnePlus had managed to achieve a 50% yield rate. Despite offering top-of-the-line specifications and unique aesthetics, the OnePlus 11 5G Marble Odyssey remains competitively priced at Rs 61,999. It offers better value for money than phones like the Samsung Galaxy S23 or the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The phone will be available in India from June 6 onwards on the OnePlus website and in flagship stores.
