Oppo Launches Reno12, Reno12 Pro with Dimensity 7300 Energy in India

Oppo has launched its new mid-range smartphone series, the Reno12, in the Indian market. The series comprises the Reno12 5G and Reno12 Pro 5G models.

Both phones feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Reno 12 lineup is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7300 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The phones run Android 14-based ColorOS 14.1 out of the box.

The Reno12 Pro 5G sports a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. The vanilla Reno12 5G has the same primary and ultra-wide sensors and a 2MP macro shooter. The Reno12 Pro has a 50MP front camera for selfies, while the Reno12 gets a 32MP front shooter.

The phones' video, photo, and AI capabilities include 4K video recording, AI-based camera features like AI Eraser 2.0, AI Studio and AI Best Shot, and AI capabilities like AI Summary, AI Writer and AI Clear Voice. Both phones also support 80W SuperVOOC fast charging and have an IP65 dust and water resistance rating.

The Reno12 Pro 5G costs Rs 36,999 for the 12GB/256GB model and Rs 40,999 for the 12GB/512GB version. It will be available in two colour variants starting July 18th. The Reno12 5G costs Rs 32,999 for the lone 8GB/256GB model and will go on sale from July 25th in three colour options. Both phones will be available for purchase through Flipkart, Oppo's online store and retail outlets across the country.
