Poco on Thursday launched its latest smartphone series in India, comprising the Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro models. The Pro variant starts at Rs 27,999 for the 8GB+256GB configuration, with the 12GB+256GB model priced at Rs 29,999. The standard X7 model begins at Rs 21,999 for 8GB+128GB storage, while the 8GB+256GB version costs Rs 23,999.
The devices will be available exclusively via Flipkart, with the X7 Pro launching on January 14 and the X7 following on January 17. Buyers can choose from three colour options: Poco Yellow, Nebula Green, and Black.
The standard X7 model gets a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra SoC with up to 8GB of RAM. Its 6.67-inch curved OLED display achieves 3,000 nits peak brightness and incorporates Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection. The device houses a 5,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. The camera system includes three sensors: a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera.
The X7 Pro showcases several notable features, including the largest battery ever incorporated in a Poco device at 6,550mAh, supported by 90W fast charging capability. The device utilizes a MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor, offering configurations of up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Its 6.67-inch LTPS OLED display delivers a 120Hz refresh rate and impressive 3,200 nits peak brightness. The device operates on Android 15 with HyperOS 2, incorporating various AI functionalities such as translation, recording, and subtitle generation. The imaging system consists of a dual-camera arrangement, featuring a 50MP Sony LTY-600 main sensor with optical image stabilisation and an 8MP ultra-wide lens.
Both devices in the X7 series demonstrate robust build quality, featuring IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for comprehensive protection against water and dust exposure. These certifications represent a significant improvement over the previous X6 series, enhancing the devices' durability and reliability in various environmental conditions.
