Pure EV Debuts New X Platform 3.0

Pure EV has significantly updated its software architecture, the X Platform, and has rechristened it to X Platform 3.0. The company claims that this is the next phase of its electric mobility revolution, and the biggest highlight of this new architecture will be the clever integration of several AI technologies.The new X Platform 3.0 will be available with Pure EV’s premium models, the ePluto 7G Max and the eTryst X, initially. Later on, the software will be available to its entire portfolio by 2025. 

With the new X Platform 3.0, Pure EV has been able to introduce a new ride mode called Thrill mode. This is more like a ‘Sports+’ mode wherein the brand claims that torque and performance increases by 25 per cent for quicker acceleration. As mentioned above, the new architecture integrates predictive AI technology, which will help optimise the scooter’s performance as per the rider’s behaviour in varied conditions. At the same time, it will also identify and address potential issues in the scooter before they even occur, which in turn should help make the scooter more reliable. Additionally, over-the-air updates will now be available which will help keep the scooter’s softwares up-to-date and optimised at all times.

The controls and information to all these new features and information will now be displayed on a brand new TFT dashboard. While the size of this new console is yet to be specified, Pure EV did clarify that it will be compatible with both Android and Apple iOS devices. With smartphone connectivity will come a range of features like turn-by-turn navigation, range estimates, battery health updates, etc all of which will be displayed on the dashboard.
