Chinese motorcycle manufacturer QJ Motor is all set to launch the SRT 600, a new mid-capacity adventure motorcycle that the brand unveiled earlier this year. The bike is scheduled to debut in China this summer, with a potential European release in 2025.
The SRT 600 features a distinctive fuel tank design that is reminiscent of the Harley-Davidson Pan America, which has quite the generous 20.5-litre capacity. Powering the bike is a 554 cc twin-cylinder engine, producing 61 bhp. For the European market, QJ Motor may offer a 48 hp version to comply with A2 license regulations.
Built around a steel main frame with a bolted-on rear subframe, the SRT 600 employs an aluminium swingarm for optimal weight distribution and handling and the front suspension consists of a Marzocchi upside-down fork. Braking duties are handled by Brembo components, with dual discs and four-piston radial calipers at the front, and a single disc with a two-piston caliper at the rear. ABS is standard on both wheels.
In the Chinese market, the QJ SRT 600 will be available in two variants – a standard version with aluminium rims and Maxxis enduro tyres, and an off-road version featuring spoked wheels. Both models ride on 19-inch front and 17-inch wheels with identical tyre sizes.
The SRT 600's technology package includes a seven-inch colour display dashboard, offering essential information, data, and smartphone connectivity with navigation functions.
In the Chinese market, the QJ Motor SRT 600 is competitively priced at 29,999 yuan (equal to ₹3.45 lakh) for the standard version and 33,999 yuan (which is equal to ₹3.91 lakh) for the off-road variant. As for its Indian launch, the chances of that is next to nil with QJ’s existing portfolio having received poor feedback from Indian buyers.
